I setup the ADS-B feeder to flightaware and planefinder recently. I start using one old (10+ years) E2000 dongle, and flightware pro just arrived yesterday.

It is big difference since changed to flightware dongle. Double airplanes, double range and much higher signal strength. Also half more CPU.

The antenna is a simple “4 legs spider antenna” like this:

======Update 7 Feb, 2021======

It looks like the LNA makes the overload if using the v-stub antenna. The noise level reach -20dbi by default gain. I set gain to 40, but still cannot get as good as that simple spider antenna. Over the weekend I switched it back to the spider antenna. Will keep monitor it for a while before next change.

It also notice that the cloud affect the receiving very much. The following day (04 Feb) weather I put new flightaware on was very good without any cloud, thus got much better aircrafts than priories and drop back next day. Next day is cloud day and raining.
